I use the word “love” advisedly. A better way to put it might have been “lovers of female company’ or ‘lovers of female company that consists of physical relations.’ I went with the shorter title, but I believe I have made my point.
Vacationers can choose from a seemingly infinite number of hotels, from five stars on down to ‘terrifying.’ However, safe and clean accommodations can be had for as little as $10 to $15 a night, and even the pricier options will seem a bargain. Check out booking.com and nose around. The best neighborhood to stay in depends on who you are, what your ‘style’ is. For those who prefer ‘upscale’ and prefer a place as much like ‘home’ as possible, the El Poblado area is your best choice. There’s a ‘Hooters,’ an Irish pub type bar, along with too many bars and restaurants to count. If you’re looking for company, you can stroll Parque Lleras in the evening or talk to some of the gringos you’ll probably meet for recommendations. You can find plenty of home delivery type ladies on Facebook or many of the escort sites. A Google search of ‘Medellin prepagos’ should turn up at least a half dozen, probably more. If your Spanish sucks, it’s a bit trickier, but I’m sure you know that by now. Laureles is another option if you want a ‘nice’ neighborhood but one not as affected by the gringo factor.

For those seeking the most ‘bang for the buck,’ Centro (downtown) is the place to be.
Hotel Normandia, for example, at a bit less than $20 a night is decent and within a half block of two nightclubs where full service is available. And there are less expensive options if you want to save as much as possible to spend on ‘companionship.’
Below is a map of the larger area. The pink line to the right is where numerous ‘casas’ are located. The other pink lines denote where other ‘nightclubs’ can be found, or at the far left, where independents can be found for company in the short-term hotels in the area.
Prices in the ‘casas’ tend to run around $15 for a half hour full service, or 40,000 pesos. The nightclubs are around twice that, generally speaking.
