Sala Criss, Criss or Sala Fama depending on who you talk to is the name of this unmarked building with credit card logos pasted in the window. Walk up to the door covered with a metal gate, and get the attention of the receptionist who presses a button to open the electronic lock.
It might be easy to confuse Sala Criss with one of the low rent law offices in this San Jose neighborhood if it weren’t for the five or six ladies waiting in the living room. Upstairs the rooms aren’t the best, but they have sturdy massage tables and clean towels. Some of the girls have training in massage.
Note: Sala Criss has been closed since 2013. It is unlikely to reopen as the building has been renovated and the landlord is looking for a new rental contact.
