I get emails from time to time, and as I have said earlier, they tend to ask overly broad questions that can’t be answered in less than a book. One question I recently got was “Where can I meet ‘regular’ chicas?” Although it wasn’t explicitly stated, I assume they mean girls whom they can pick up and won’t charge them for sex.

All other things being equal, “not paying” is better than “paying.” In my younger days, my twenties and early thirties, I was fortunate to encounter, here and there, women who had sex with me and it was all free. A few even invited me over for a free meal before the sex. Ah, those were the days, my friend.
Time has taken its toll on my sex appeal, alas, and the few ladies who might still be interested in me tend to be “full figured” grandmothers looking for somebody to help with the gardening and go antique shopping on Sundays. So far I have resisted the temptation.
You, on the other hand, may still be young and smooth enough to pick up a Latina on her home turf. If you aren’t totally over the hill, you may have the ‘exotic’ factor going for you. It’s probably worth more in less touristy places than in places where gringos are commonplace. You’d be more of a novelty in Cali, Colombia than you would in Cancun, for example. On the flip side of the coin, your chances aren’t so good if you don’t dance or speak some Spanish. And if you do meet someone in a bar setting, you should be prepared to buy more than your own drinks.
The guy who “wrote the book” on this is a guy called “Roosh V” who seems to have dedicated himself to bedding foreign women and writing about it. He even has a book on picking up women in Colombia. It has some tips and observations that might be useful to guys who don’t want to pay, for whatever reason. Considering the low cost of the ‘pros’ here and the fact that I’m past my prime, I don’t bother.
On the positive side, if you decide to pursue non-pros, you’re not going to suffer from blue balls for long if you have even $15 left over. There are plenty of “casas” that will be happy to relieve your frustration. Let me know how you make out.
