Managers of the Atlantis night club in Costa Rica were arrested by local police after a investigation determined there were women working from Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Russia t the club.
Some of the dancers also complained of abuse on the part of managers and the owner, a U.S. national.
The Atlantis Night Club, located in La Uruca with Tango India are high end clubs where one hour private sessions cost $200. The suites at Atlantis feature large hot tubs, consistent with the watery motif.
