A short term room is a great option for keeping brief international romances far away from family or business associates at an upscale suburban hotel. Mentioning a short term hotel also works well during pre-date negotiations. Most girls are wary of going on a long trip to the suburbs with an expensive taxi ride back to town.
San Jose has plenty of hot sheet or love motels. The three best options are perhaps Hotel Asia, Ginori, La Oficina and the relatively new Hotel Momentos.
- Hotel Asia has the advantage of being just around the corner from the Hotel Del Rey. Rooms cost $10 for an hour, and making the trip just requires walking past the Colonial casino, and rounding a well-traveled corner.
- Ginori is an nice, but run-down classical home in downtown San Jose. The inner courtyard has been converted to a parking lot so it’s a nice option for those who have a car and live far away. Just park in the lot in front of the Key Largo Bar, pickup a girl and drive to the Ginori before heading home.
- Farol Rojo once was a place where ladies would casually gather, but now it’s strictly bring a date.
- Hotel Momentos is in the building formerly known as El Rex. It’s the new place in town, and is clean and well run.
